How about an old opera house? It would make for an enchanting setting. And I remember an old opera quote that I think could do well for a paranormal school. "A very elastic nationality". It means something along the lines of opera houses accepting every soprano because they're so valuable, but I think when stretched it could have the same meaning for a school, theme-wise. It could be engraved above the front doorway or a motto or something?
