Boy problems answer please!?

okay so i like this boy devin. He likes me too. we always tell each other we love each other and we text legit every second of the day. were always hanging out and last night we watched a movie together. We were snuggling and all of the sudden he kissed me on the lips. :* now we always say how we wanna go out with each other and he said last night that he wants to go out with me but he finds our relationship now more interesting for him. In the past i said is it because u dont like me you dont want to ask me out and he said " no are u crazy?!! i love you and if i mess this up with you idk what ill do." because we r bestfriends and he doest really have that many trust worthy friends so he said that the reason y he hasn't asked me out is bc if we break up we he doesn't want anything 2 ruin ou friendship. idk what to do now?!?!? should i just take it how it is or should i do something?! Also what does this mean from a boys perspective!
