Sims 3, can't see my sim's inventory?

I have Sims 3 with the high-end loft stuff and late night expansion packs. Randomly, on one of my adult sims i cannot see their personal inventory. This is very frustrating because I know there are things in there, also I suspect there is rotten food in there as there is a disgusted moodlet constantly there. Please help. How can I see her inventory again!? Thanks a lot!! (:
